UW Women’s Volleyball welcomed Babcock Dairy ice cream into the Field House in 2025, and we continue to scoop for all home games! Find us inside Gate C, cheering on the Badgers and scooping up to ten flavors.

We produce signature dairy products for the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the surrounding community. Through this, the Babcock Dairy Plant and Dairy Store help support the University of Wisconsin Food Science Department’s mission of research, teaching and outreach.

The Down-Leau is located in DOWNtown TrempeaLEAU – right on Main Street! (pronounced down-low). We LOVE a good play on words!
Our space includes a building constructed in 1890, with an art-deco decor inspiration. We have an outdoor patio with seating and a train caboose (currently under construction!).
We offer coffee & espresso drinks, pastries, sandwiches & paninis, Babcock Dairy ice cream, grab-and-go meals and snacks – as well as locally curated gift shop items and merch! We offer gluten free, reduced sugar and vegan options on our menu – and we truly hope you can find something you love!

The Atwood Creamery is a local, family-owned ice cream shop selling equally-super-local, historic, Babcock Dairy ice Cream. New owner Terry Moss opened in the summer of 2025, taking over the former SASY Scoop shop to the joy and delight of near-east side kids of all ages, Moss continues to serve Babcock Dairy ice cream in the neighborhood in which they live and love, the Schenk-Atwood neighborhood. They offer scooped ice cream all summer long, along with floats, shakes and sundaes. Stop by and give it a try!

Miggy’s Bakes sells Babcock’s pre-packaged ice cream along with delicious baked goods.

Miggy’s Bakes is a small business founded by a UW–Madison alum. They sell delicious cookie cups, cakes and other baked goods! You can also find Miggy’s Bakes in the Dairy Store.
