Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
- 4 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cup water
- 1 3/4 tsp olive oil
Recipe: makes 4 pizzas
- Combine the flour, yeast and salt and whisk before adding the water and olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Place the dough on a lightly floured counter and knead for three minutes. Rest for 15 minutes, then knead for another three minutes.
- Separate the finished dough into four pieces. Form the pieces into balls.
- Place the dough pieces into a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil and rest, covered, for 1.5 hours or in plastic bags in the refrigerator overnight. If refrigerating the dough, remove it from the refrigerator 2 hours before baking.
