‘Morgridge Marble Medley’ Celebrates Morgridge Hall Opening
Surprise! The Babcock Dairy Store has re-released Morgridge Marble Medley in all its butterscotch, fudge, pecan-filled glory, in sweet celebration of the new Morgridge Hall.

Originally crafted in 2014 to celebrate a gift from Tashia and John Morgridge, Morgridge Marble Medley has returned for a limited time only!
This scrumptious flavor is making a comeback to honor the grand opening of Morgridge Hall, the new home of the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences at UW–Madison. At events celebrating the new building in September, John Morgridge explained why he believes ice cream is so meaningful in celebrations.
“Ice cream is a significant kind of celebration of accomplishment, a celebration of something well done. And so I think it’s fitting that we’re having ice cream here today,” Morgridge said.
John and Tashia Morgridge have been partners with UW-Madison over many years in positively transforming the campus and creating opportunities for discovery, teaching and public service. They were awarded the inaugural Distinguished Service Award by the Wisconsin Alumni Association in 2024 for their decades of support of the university.
Babcock Dairy is proud to honor the Morgridges for their “job well done” in supporting this exciting new chapter for the UW-Madison community. “Morgridge Marble Medley” is made of vanilla ice cream, butterscotch and fudge swirl, brownies and pecans.
Enjoy a dish of Morgridge Marble Medley, now scooping at Memorial Union, Union South and the Babcock Dairy Store.
